Reiki + Restorative Yoga
A gentle practice combining the healing effects of Reiki with restorative yoga.
Third Tuesday, Every Month
6:30 – 8:00 PM
Receive the healing effects of Reiki throughout this 90 minute, rejuvenating, restorative yoga practice. During your practice, you will be led through a consciously created sequence of yoga postures (asanas) and breathwork (pranayama) to open up each chakra (energetic centers) in order. We will move through the chakra system by finding gentle movements and then longer, supportive holds; within the restorative poses, you will receive the hands on healing touch of Reiki, targeting each chakra, enhancing its spin and energy flow.
Reiki is a Japanese technique for treating the body, mind, emotions, and spirit; relieving stress and pain, inducing relaxation, accelerating natural healing, releasing emotional blockages, and restoring balance to its energy centers (chakras). Learn more about Reiki here.
Restorative Yoga is an approach to yoga that is accessible to all levels of practice. All postures are done on the ground with multiple props so that the body is completely supported at all times.
$40 per session
Five person minimum per class.

Janine started practicing yoga in 2006. While practicing Savasana, she fell in love with meditation, leading her to adopt a daily meditation practice. Mediation has offered her miracles of insight; knowing; time spent with the Divine, and this is her greatest blessing. She was led to Reiki through meditation.
During her meditations, her hands get intensely hot; they tingle and burn. After consulting with other folks who meditate, she was told that those sensations are the flow of healing energy, “Reiki” and that she should investigate using it to help others.
She recently received her Reiki 1 & 11 attunements from Reiki Master Shree Fulcher, at Ascension Studio in Kill Devil Hills. Janine looks forward to helping you find balance throughout your system, as well as having an overall feeling of well being and relaxation.
Janine’s other loves are to spend time with her family and friends, sailing, reading, gardening and cooking.
