Casita in jungle for yoga retreat

Like most things, quality of life is more important than quantity- but what if you could have both? What if you can extend your life while vastly improving the quality?

On the Longevity Yoga Retreat we will increase our longevity by immersing ourselves into blue zone living, alongside unending healing from yoga, Ayurveda, meditation, and the tropical and deeply healing energetic vortex that is Costa Rica.

You will stay in a Costa Rican styled casita located on a private 19 acre nature sanctuary with spectacular jungle views. Every day you will enjoy fresh organic local foods, practice yoga in the open air yoga shala, participate in powerful workshops and reflective exercises, soak up the stunning jungle and tropical beaches during excursions, and have ample free time to lounge at the fresh water natural pool, receive body work,  journal, or read a good book.

It is believed that when we stray from our habitual patterns we create new healthy neural pathways in the brain, optimizing our brain health, and ultimately slowing time down. Retreat Leader

Olivia Lifsey 500RYT YACEP

In 2013 Olivia attended Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Traditional Eastern Arts with a concentration in Yoga, as well as completing over 1,000 hours of yoga teacher training. Upon graduation in 2015, Olivia registered with Yoga Alliance and began her teaching career while traveling throughout Central America, and in her hometown of Chagrin Falls, Ohio.

Olivia came to the Outer Banks in 2016 to complete the Kunga Yoga Lifestyle Program, a program dedicated to educating yogis how to use their practice as service for others. After completing the Kunga program, Olivia was offered a full time teaching position at Village Yoga, in Duck North Carolina.

Olivia’s yoga classes are inspired by dance as she likes to include funky transitions and challenging shapes we typically don’t put our bodies into everyday. While she loves physical play time, her classes are grounded in spirit and will include pranayama and meditation practices.

Since moving to the Outer Banks, Olivia has completed a SUP yoga teacher training, became certified at hands on assisting with Noelle Whittington, studied Barre with Denise DeCarlo, received her Reiki I certification, and is a certified Ayurvedic health coach.

In 2019 Olivia led her first Ayurveda and yoga retreat. She immediately fell in love with the combination of wellness travel and connecting with people in an immersion style container. She believes that the experience of retreating to self explore, deepen your spiritual practice, and get out of the day to day routines can provide deep healing and positive change.

You now have multiple opportunities to join Olivia on retreat throughout the year, as she continues to add more to her roster, including international retreats!

Inspired by her own lifelong healing journey, Olivia is dedicated to educating and empowering others to learn how to heal themselves through Ayurveda, mindful movement, and self-love.

Olivia is currently accepting coaching clients to work with her 1 on 1 through an Ayurvedic health lens. Book yours today.

Yes, you will be required to show proof of trip insurance. With everything going on in the world, it is best that you can travel with peace of mind for your retreat.

All commercial establishments, activities, and events can operate at 100% capacity. The mandatory use of masks has been eliminated too.
As of June 12, 2022, CDC will no longer require air passengers traveling from a foreign country to the United States to show a negative COVID-19 viral test or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 before they board their flight
IMPORTANT NOTE: While it seems that the majority of COVID travel restrictions are lifting, we are keeping a close eye on any changes that may occur and will keep you updated along the way. The safety and ease of your retreat travel is of utmost importance to us
